Cancer Insurance
Susan Strong, Director (239) 337-8317

This is a supplemental policy offered through AIG which pays regardless of other coverage including health insurance. The check is sent directly to you to use for in whatever way you wish.
When Cancer Strikes:
  • Expenses Increase....travel and lodging to and form treatment, medication, co-payments, special diets, and treatment not covered by health insurance, etc.
  • Income Decreases...missed work for both you and your spouse (will you be able to afford to have your spouse with when you have to go for treatment?)

Benefit Highlights:

  • Certain transportation and lodging expenses
  • Wellness benefits
  • Donor Benefits
  • In and out of hospitals benefits
  • New or Experimental treatment (which is not covered by health insurance)
  • Renewable for life - you can take the policy with you.

In applying for the AIG cancer benefit, you must complete a medical questionnaire as it is not a guarantee of benefit.  The coverage must be approved first. If you have had some type of cancer previously and you are not sure whether or not you are able to obtain the coverage, please review the Requirements for Consideration.
